Molly, who was raised in Pennsylvania was a professional performer when she began in Philadelphia at the Prince Music Theater at 13 years old. Her first performance was The Snow Queen. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated for a Barrymore Award. The role was reprised when making her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was nominated as a Drama League Award. Molly was in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). She then attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Religion. When she was in the college, Molly began her acting career with Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Her career path continued following leaving college with various Off Broadway plays, among them End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked on television as a character in Royal Pains as well as an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a part of several regional productions including the The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly has been a star in a variety of regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production.
